Lake Painting

This is a painting about one of my favorite places. The large scale is wonderful. Because it wouldn’t fit into my studio at the time, we moved all the furniture out of our dining room so I could paint there. To transport the painting to its new owner, it was taken off the stretcher—which was then dismantled—and driven to Virginia where everything was reassembled.
