Octotych: At first I didn’t see it, but then one day I did

This is one painting made up of eight individual panels. The piece is intentionally painted in parts, each suggesting a fragment of humanity’s passage through the world. Our collective history is one long attempt to understand the environment and our place in it, to leave our mark. Individually, we labor to distill our own voices from the vast universal beat and, if we are brave, to join that voice to the eternal.
